Aaron has developed a passion for houses and real estate over the last 5 years that he’s spent purchasing and remodeling homes with his wife, and learning from her day-to-day experiences as a Portland area loan officer.
He’s been immersed in the real estate world spending time with her and her co-workers, industry partners, and friends. Aaron quickly became passionate about homes (especially historic Portland homes) and envisioning their potential as he and his wife took on their first full home renovation in 2016. As he realized how much he loves looking at houses, evaluating their worth, and envisioning their potential, he made a career shift into the real estate industry and jumped in whole-heartedly.
He finds great joy in shopping with first time home buyers and helping them imagine their future. He enjoys watching the happiness on their faces when they find the home they’ve been looking for. He sees the promise in each home, the benefits it has to offer, and also what can be improved. He has a lot of knowledge on the skills, materials, and cost of work that’s needed and helps his clients see the potential of a little elbow-grease and building sweat equity! He is motivated and driven to ensure every client has an amazing buying or selling experience. Aaron loves to continue learning and building his knowledge and experience, seeking new information, and helping his clients with any questions that come up.
Aaron has lived his entire life in Portland – his mom still lives in his childhood home in NE Portland where he grew up as the youngest of 4 children and attended Grant High School followed by Mt. Hood Community College. His mother and sisters are teachers and his father was a Veteran, Portland City Police Officer and past Grand Master of the Oregon Freemasons. Aaron’s in-laws are also in the real estate industry and entrepreneurs and landlords. Previously he spent 8 years working for Pacific Foods, a local organic food manufacturing company. Aaron has seen many walks of life and easily connects with people – he treats his clients like family and always fights for their best interests.
Aaron and his wife Lauran spend their free time restoring their 1910 Beaverton farm house, traveling the world, binging Netflix shows, drinking coffee, spending time at the beach, and playing with their 2 rescued Labrador mixes, Maple & Lido
