    Ladybug Nature Walks at Kenton Park. Ladybug Walks are perfect for preschoolers and parents who want to explore nature in Portland’s parks with trained preschool naturalists. Children are guided along the trails of various parks in all corners of the city by an Environmental Educator. Walks go at just the right pace and introduce children to forests, water, insects, plants and animals.Friday 10am. $4 per preschooler, no charge for adults.

    Aaron Nigel Smith and One World Chorus in Lake Oswego. Wonderful family-friendly music. Friday 7-8pm. $5 suggested donation.

    Urbanmamas & Popina Swimwear Fashion Show and Mama’s Night Out>! Come grab a glass, watch a fashion show and find that perfect suit for the summer! Popina is offering 25% off all suits purchased at the event. Friday 7pm. $5 at the door.

    Open Studio at Portland Child Art Studio. Open studio gives kids and their families the opportunity to use the studio as an art educational resource. All the materials are there for your child to explore, discover, and transform. Most often, kids take the lead and engage in a very natural way with the space and the art materials available to them. Grown-up required. Saturday 10am-1pm. $10/child, $5/sibling.

    Queen Melissa Tea Cruise on the Portland Spirit. Queen Melissa, Queen of Maybeland from the beloved radio show and children´s book, The Cinnamon Bear, is setting off on and adventure of her own. Captain Taffy is bringing her to Portland for a high tea cruise with her most loyal subjects. Join Queen Melissa and her Maybeland Fairies for an enchanting afternoon filled with activities fit for a king or queen.     Spanish Story and Play Time at Powell’s Books at Cedar Hills Crossing. Get ready to sing, dance, and listen to great alouds with Jessica! Saturday 12:30-1pm. Free!

    Spring Wildflower Walk at Tillamook Forest Center. Spring has arrived and the naturalists are eager to share some beautiful forest wildflowers with you. Come along for an easy, guided walk where group will find trilliums, wood violets, candy flowers, sour grass and much more. Sunday 1:30-2:30pm. Free!

    EASTER FUN
    Easter Fun - Egg hunts, Bunny sightings, Brunches & more 
    Saturday

    Rabbit Romp at the Oregon Zoo – 9am-3pm
    Celebrate spring with games, a petting zoo and crafts. Candy egg hunts occur every 10-15 minutes between 9am and 3pm on the zoo’s concert lawn, for children 10 and younger. Don’t forget to bring a basket! Ages: 10 and under. Cost: Free with zoo admission.

    Code Orange Easter Egg Drop – 10am-12:30pm

    Easter Egg hunt for ages 2-11 using a real helicopter to drop over 20,000 orange eggs into Brentwood Park. The day will be filled with fun activities such as face painting, pictures with the Easter Bunny, and more! Ages: 2-11 Cost: Free – but pre-registration is required.>

    Chehalis-Centralia Railroad & Museum — 11am, 1pm & 3pm
    Climb aboard for a leisurely Saturday train ride while the “Easter Bunny” and “Chicken Little” hide the eggs. Upon the return of the train, children (12 years and under) will go into the “egg field” to gather candy filled Easter Eggs! Many eggs will have prize tickets inside to be redeemed in the depot. Ages: 0-12. Cost: All ages over 3 $10. Children under 3 ride free with an adult.

    Hippity Hop Bunny Hop Through The Pearl – noon-3pm
    Bring the whole family, collect treats, do art projects, and search for this year’s “signature” Easter Egg cut-out that is creatively hidden in participating merchants’ windows or shops. Collect stamps to complete your map, vote for the best window displays, get “bounce back” offers for special deals in the future, and be entered to win raffle prizes.

    Easter Eggstravaganza at The Aerie at Eagle Landing – 4-7pm
    Family Fun-Mini Golf, Radio Disney Portland, Face Painting, Balloon Artist, Craft Corner, Food available for purchase on-site & more! 10,000 eggs will be dropped for many chances to win prizes and candy. Egg Hunting-Age 0-4 at 4:30; Age 5-8 at 5:00pm; Age 9-12 at 5:30pm. $5 per child.

    Easter at Skamania Lodge – 8am-1:30pm
    Easter Egg hunt, bunny hop race, egg spoon race, egg rolling race, all perfect for the whole family. 9a-3p The Cascade Dining Room at Skamania Lodge will be serving a lavish holiday brunch buffet. Adults $46.00, Children – Ages 8-12 $22.00, Ages 4-7 $13.00, Age 3 & under: Free.Portland Spirit Easter Brunch Cruise – 9:30-11:30am & 2-4pm

    Gather your friends and family for an Easter celebration to remember. Hop onboard the Portland Spirit for a two-hour Easter Brunch cruise featuring an elaborate brunch buffet, ever-changing views and excellent service. Cost: Adults $58, Children $29. Reservations required.

    Golden Egg Hunt at Glenoveer Golf & Tennis – 12-1:30pm

    Bring the whole family to another free community event hosted by Glendoveer Golf & Tennis – the Golden Easter Egg Hunt. Plastic “gold” Easter eggs will be hidden throughout the field with something special inside; take pictures with the Easter bunny and immediately following the Easter egg hunt kids can a ride the Wish Upon a Pony carousel.
